Phone Banking is FUN!

Trust us it really is. Tonight First Creek Middle School rallied its troops and filled our phone bank, making hundreds of calls and sharing funny stories. Like one call Adrienne Dale had where she got their voice mail where two children were yelling ” leave your message after the beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!” I guess the kids beep lasted a very long time.

Having us make the calls really makes a difference for Jay Inslee. He is willing to protect our bargaining rights, unlike McKenna who does not believe public sector workers should have the right to bargain a full contract. All the Tacoma School District employees should understand the importance of a good collective bargaining agreement.

We will be phone banking on Wednesday the 20th and the 27th from 4:00-6:00 and again from 6:00-8:00. Everyone is welcome and we really do have a great time.
